Who we are
TEMPER is a trading name of Stackly Ops Limited (NZBN 9429053340542), a New Zealand company. This notice explains how we handle personal information under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. It covers this website, audit requests and the audit itself. If you become a TEMPER brand, your contract covers the rest.

This website
No cookies, no advertising trackers, no tracking pixels. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or follow you to other sites. It tells us things like which pages get read and roughly where visitors come from, never who you are. Our host, Cloudflare, also processes basic request data such as your IP address to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Our calculators run in your browser. The numbers you type stay on your device: we only count that a calculator was used.
When you ask for an audit
We collect what you put in the form: your name, email, store, revenue range, your answers and any notes. We use them to reply to you, set up read-only access and prepare your audit. We keep your enquiry for as long as we need it to follow up, then delete it.
During the audit
- You choose what we connect. Shopify first, then Xero and your ad accounts if you agree. Access is read-only: we can't change, refund or post anything, and you can disconnect at any time.
- What we see: orders, products, customers and your profit and loss. That includes personal information about your customers.
- What we use it for: your audit and your proposal, nothing else. What the audit shows about your finances also shapes the payment terms we offer you.
- How we build it: we use AI tools to help analyse your numbers. A person checks every figure before your audit reaches you.
- Kept separate: your data isn't mixed with any other store's, and it's never used to pitch or benchmark anyone else.
- When it's done: we disconnect Xero once the audit is finished. If you don't go ahead, everything we pulled is deleted within 30 days.
Your customers
We handle your customers' information on your behalf and only for your audit. We don't contact them, and we don't use their details for anything else.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of service providers to run TEMPER: Cloudflare (website hosting), Resend (email delivery), Fastmail (our email), the AI providers behind our tools, and the platforms you connect. Some of them store data outside New Zealand, including in the United States, Australia and Japan. They get only what they need to do their job. We don't sell personal information, ever.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email privacy@tempercommerce.co.nz and we'll respond within 20 working days. If you're not happy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
